Install

Download source zip No release zip yet

This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/oliforge/oliforge-gallery/archive/refs/heads/main.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Gallery shortcode with a full-size viewer. Built for documentation screenshots, works in any post or page.

[oliforge_gallery ids="12,15,18" columns="3" title="Settings screens" caption="Admin screenshots"]
  • ids - attachment IDs, in display order (required).
  • columns - 1 to 6 (default 3; 2 columns on tablets, 1 on phones).
  • title, caption - optional text above and below the grid; not printed when empty.
  • size - thumbnail size (default medium_large).
  • Per-image captions come from the media library "Caption" field and are shown under the thumbnail and in the viewer only when filled in.

Click a thumbnail to open the viewer: arrows, keyboard (Left/Right/Esc), swipe, counter, focus trap. Assets load only on pages that contain the shortcode. The editor gets an "Add Gallery" button next to "Add Media" (classic editor and ACF WYSIWYG fields). Output passes through oliforge_kses() unchanged (the plugin allows srcset, sizes, decoding on img).

Block and Elementor widget

  • Gutenberg: block "OliForge Gallery" (oliforge/gallery, category Media). Pick images with the media library, set columns, title and caption in the sidebar. Server-side rendered, so it matches the front end.
  • Elementor: widget "OliForge Gallery" in the OliForge category: image gallery control, columns, title, caption, plus style controls (gap, corner radius, title typography and color, caption color).
  • Shortcode, block and widget share one renderer (oliforge_gallery_render()), so the markup and the viewer are identical.

Development: composer install && composer lint.
