Installation

Upload the plugin files to /wp-content/plugins/ogimage/ or install via the WordPress plugin screen
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' screen in WordPress
Go to Settings → OG Image to configure your preferences
(Optional) Enter your license key to remove watermarks

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a license key?

No! The free version works great. You only need a license key if you want to remove the small watermark from generated images.

Will this work with my SEO plugin?

Yes! OG Image Generator only outputs tags if your post doesn't have a featured image, so it won't conflict with Yoast, RankMath, or other SEO plugins that use featured images for OG tags.

How do I customize the image for a specific post?

Edit the post and look for the "OG Image Settings" box in the sidebar. You can set a custom subtitle or disable the auto-generated image entirely.

What is Lite Mode?

Lite Mode generates images with solid colors instead of gradients, resulting in ~90% smaller file sizes. Enable it if page speed is a priority.
