Install
This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.
Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:
wp plugin install https://github.com/obadatarazi/shamcash-payments/archive/refs/heads/main.zipNo built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.
WooCommerce payment gateway for ShamCash (Syria e-wallet). Merchants take USD / SYP payments at checkout; orders update automatically through encrypted webhooks.

What it does
- Creates a ShamCash bill and sends the customer to the payment page
- Marks orders paid / failed / cancelled from webhooks (bill re-checked server-side before “paid”)
- Full and partial refunds from the WooCommerce order screen
- Works with classic checkout and WooCommerce Blocks
- HPOS compatible · debug logs via WooCommerce · EN + AR language files
- Uses the WordPress HTTP API (no Composer / Guzzle on the store)

Install
- Upload the
shamcash-paymentsfolder to/wp-content/plugins/ - Activate under Plugins
- Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Payments → ShamCash
- Enter Agent Key, Secret Key, and Base URL → enable → save
- Copy the webhook URL into your ShamCash merchant settings if required
WordPress.org-style details live in readme.txt.
Security notes
- Requests and webhooks use Direct JWE encryption (A256GCM)
- The secret key stays on your server
- Paid webhooks are verified with
getBillbefore the order status changes
