Artificial PH – Global AI Events v1
INSTALL
- Upload artificial-ph-global-ai-events.zip in WordPress: Plugins > Add New Plugin > Upload Plugin.
- Activate the plugin.
- Add this shortcode anywhere you want the widget to appear: [global_ai_events]
OPTIONAL Change the number of displayed events: [global_ai_events limit="3"] [global_ai_events limit="5"] [global_ai_events limit="8"]
WHAT V1 DOES
- Fetches the public Global AI Community Construct calendar server-side.
- Parses the event HTML structure identified in the HAR captured from the site.
- Extracts event date, title, location, organizer, time, timezone, tags, and event URL.
- Caches the parsed upcoming events in a WordPress transient for 6 hours. Past events are filtered out before the cache is stored.
- Displays the next 5 events by default.
- Links each event to the original Global AI Community event page.
- Includes a link to the full Construct calendar.
- Adds a WordPress Settings > Global AI Events page with a manual cache refresh link.
NOTES
- V1 intentionally does not use an undocumented API because the captured HAR showed that the events are server-rendered in the HTML response.
- The parser is scoped to the current public CSS classes used by Global AI Community: gai-day, gai-event, gai-event-title, gai-event-location, gai-event-organizer, gai-event-time, gai-event-tz, and gai-tag.
- If Global AI changes its HTML structure, the parser may need an update.
