Meta tags, alt text, broken links, redirects, and schema -- free forever. Upgrade for AI writing, Google data, competitor research, and monthly reports.

Description

SEO Autopilot Pro gives every page, post, and media item on your site the on-page SEO fundamentals it needs: meta titles and descriptions, image alt text, canonical URLs, structured data, and more -- manageable in one place instead of hunting through individual post editors.

Free, forever:

  • Meta title, description, canonical URL, and no-index control for every page, post, custom post type, and media item, plus CSV import/export for bulk editing
  • Image alt text listing and manual editing
  • Image optimization: WebP conversion and unused-image detection
  • Broken link detection, redirect suggestions, orphaned-page finder, and internal link counts
  • Manual redirects with an automatic 404 log
  • Sitewide and per-page header/footer code injection
  • JSON-LD schema markup, breadcrumbs, hreflang tags, and social (Open Graph / Twitter Card) meta, with a Media Library picker for social images
  • Manual business info and keyword entry for planning your site's target keywords

Upgrade to unlock AI + Page Speed + Search Console:

  • AI-generated meta titles, descriptions, and image alt text -- one page at a time or in bulk
  • AI content suggestions for thin pages (missing sections, FAQ drafting) and AI duplicate-content detection across your own site
  • AI-suggested keywords from a plain-English business description, plus related/long-tail keyword expansion
  • Real Core Web Vitals / Page Speed scores and history for mobile and desktop -- no API key to set up, it's included with your plan
  • Connect Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Google Business Profile through one sign-in -- no Google Cloud project of your own to set up
  • Monthly reports: each finished month frozen as a permanent record -- search and analytics performance against the month before, what changed on which page, and what still needs attention. Print or save as PDF. Kept against your account, so the history outlives the site
  • Competitor research: finds who you compete with, reads what their pages target, and measures it against your own real Search Console positions -- which of their terms you already rank for, which you are shown for but never clicked, and which you are invisible for

A Free-tier install works completely on its own -- no account, no license key, nothing to connect. AI features, Page Speed, and the Search Console connection require a paid plan; every AI button is visible either way, so you can see what's available before upgrading.

Third-Party Services

This plugin connects to external services to provide specific features. With no license key stored, the plugin never contacts us or any service of ours -- a free install sends us nothing, ever. The one exception below that works without a key is the broken-link checker, which requests the pages you yourself linked to, and only when you start a scan.

SEO Autopilot Pro licensing, AI, and Google data service Required for AI features, Page Speed, Search Console, Analytics, and Business Profile, and for enforcing your plan's usage limits.

Once you enter a license key, the following is sent to our backend at https://seopilot-ai-proxy.nehemyda.workers.dev:

  • Your license key and this site's domain, when you activate the key and whenever the Dashboard or Settings screen loads, so we can return your current plan, usage, and renewal date.
  • A summary of this site's SEO status, sent with that same Dashboard check: the health score, the number of pages with issues, the number of images missing alt text, how many SEO checklist items pass, and the daily history of those same figures this site has already been recording locally. No page content, URLs, or visitor data are included. This is what lets an agency see the health of every site on its license from one place, and it is sent only from the Dashboard screen, only while a license key is active.
  • When you use an AI feature (generate a title, description, alt text, content suggestion, keyword idea, or blog post), the relevant page title and a content excerpt, as the prompt. Our backend forwards it to a third-party AI provider (Google Gemini, OpenAI, or Anthropic Claude) and returns the generated text.
  • When you check a page's speed, that page's public URL, which our backend forwards to Google's PageSpeed Insights API using our own shared key.
  • When you connect a Google account, you are sent to Google's own consent screen through a single OAuth connection our backend manages. Google redirects back to our backend, which stores the resulting credential (encrypted) and, from then on, fetches your Search Console, Analytics, and Business Profile data on your behalf when you load those tabs or click Sync.
  • If you sign in with your email instead of pasting a license key (Settings, License, "Log in with email"), that email address and the one-time code you are sent. Nothing is transmitted until you click "Send code" or "Verify".
  • When you use Find competitors (Keyword Strategy, Competitors), your business name and either your address or your business description, as a web-search prompt. Our backend forwards it to a search-grounded AI provider, which searches the public web and returns competing businesses with the source it found each one from. Reading their pages sends the resulting list of competitor websites the same way.
  • Once a month, after a month has finished, a report snapshot. This is the largest thing the plugin sends and the only one that includes content: your page titles and URLs, the search terms your site earned impressions for with their clicks and positions, which pages changed and what changed on them, your competitors' names and websites, and the health and speed figures for the month. It is stored against your license so the history survives this site -- reinstalling WordPress, or moving to a new host, does not lose past reports.

Three of the above are not triggered by a button. The SEO status summary is sent whenever the Dashboard loads, and the monthly report snapshot is sent by a scheduled job a few days after each month ends. The third is the Blog Engine's scheduling, which is off unless you switch it on: once it is on, it sends an AI prompt on its own schedule, up to the monthly limit you set, and publishes the result without anyone reading it first. Its subjects come from the briefs you write, then from search terms your own Search Console data shows this site already appears for, and last -- if you tick the competitor option -- from subjects your competitors' pages cover and yours does not. Everything else in this list happens only when you click the control that does it. The "Upgrade to a paid plan" prompt shown on a locked feature lists plans from data bundled with the plugin and contacts nothing.

Sites you link to -- free feature, no key required. When you run a scan on the Broken Links screen, the plugin requests each page linked from your content, including links to other people's websites, to see whether they still respond. This is the only way to tell a working link from a dead one. It happens only when you start a scan, it sends nothing but an ordinary page request, and the destinations are entirely determined by what you have linked to. The plugin also requests your own site's public pages the same way, to read the rendered HTML.

Google PageSpeed Insights -- paid-plan feature, reached through our backend above rather than directly from your site. Terms of Service: https://developers.google.com/speed/docs/insights/v5/about Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Google Search Console -- paid-plan feature, connected and queried through our backend above rather than a Google Cloud OAuth client of your own. Terms of Service: https://developers.google.com/webmaster-tools/search-console-api-original/v3/terms Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Google Analytics (GA4) -- paid-plan feature, read through the same Google connection. The plugin only reads existing reporting data; it does not add analytics tracking to your site or collect anything about your visitors. Terms of Service: https://developers.google.com/analytics/terms Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Google Business Profile -- paid-plan feature, read through the same Google connection, covering your profile details, performance metrics, and reviews. Terms of Service: https://developers.google.com/my-business/content/policies Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Pexels -- used only by the Blog Engine, and only when featured images are switched on and no suitable image is found in your own media library. The article's search query is sent to Pexels' photo search through our backend, and the chosen photograph is downloaded into your media library with the photographer credit and link back that Pexels' licence requires. Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a license key to use this plugin?

No. Every free feature (manual meta tags, image alt text, image optimization, broken links, redirects, header/footer code, schema/breadcrumbs/hreflang/social meta) works with no account and no license key. A license key is only needed to unlock AI-generated content, Page Speed scores, and the Google Search Console connection.

What happens to my data if I don't have a paid plan?

Nothing is sent to the licensing/AI backend at all -- that only happens when you use an AI feature, check Page Speed, or connect Search Console, all of which require a paid plan.

Can I use my own OpenAI/Gemini/Claude API key?

No. AI access is included with a paid plan and billed through your subscription; there's no field to enter your own provider key.

Does this plugin work alongside Yoast SEO or other SEO plugins?

Yes. If Yoast SEO is active, SEO Autopilot Pro automatically defers canonical URLs, JSON-LD schema, breadcrumb structured data, and hreflang tags to Yoast to avoid conflicting output, while still managing meta titles/descriptions and every other feature itself.

Changelog

1.13.0

  • An expired Google connection is now reported on every Google tab, not only the one that happened to make a live call. Search Console reads from a local cache, so it had gone on showing days-old figures as though they were current.

1.12.0

  • Report header puts the agency logo beside the titling rather than above it.
  • An expired Google connection now offers a Reconnect button instead of showing Google's raw "Token has been expired or revoked" with nothing to click.

1.11.1

  • Third-Party Services disclosure now covers the monthly report snapshot, competitor research, and the daily health history sent with the Dashboard check.

1.11.0

  • Keyword Tool shows how many of your competitors target each suggested keyword -- a demand signal for phrases Search Console cannot report on, because your site does not rank for them yet.

1.9.0

  • New Competitors tab under Keyword Strategy: finds who you compete with and measures their page vocabulary against your own Search Console positions.
  • Competitor discovery no longer requires a street address, so businesses without a single location are supported.

1.8.0

  • Search Console totals now come from Google's own site figures rather than the sum of tracked queries, which under-reported traffic.

1.7.0

  • Monthly reports name what needs attention rather than counting it, and list what changed page by page.

1.6.0

  • New Reports screen. Each finished month is frozen as an immutable, versioned record and backed up against your account.

0.9.0

  • Initial public-facing build: full free-tier toolkit, AI-gated Pro features, license activation, and Google Search Console integration.

Upgrade Notice
