Installation

1. Upload the plugin folder to /wp-content/plugins/ or install via WordPress admin

Configuration

Global Settings

Navigate to WooCommerce → Dynamic Pricing by Date:

1. Time Range Settings:

   • Set start time (e.g., 06:00 for 6 AM)
   • Set end time (e.g., 20:00 for 8 PM)
   • Click "Save Time Settings"

2. Blackout Dates:

   • Manage blackout rules in two sections for clarity:
     • Blackout by Date Range: Start/End date columns
     • Blackout by Day of Week: Day selector column
   • Enable/disable rows as needed
   • Click "Save Blackout Dates"

3. Global Pricing Rules:

   • Enable/disable rules
   • Select day of week (optional)
   • Set date range (optional)
   • Choose percentage or fixed amount
   • Set increase/decrease direction
   • Click "Save Rules"

Product-Specific Rules

1. Edit any WooCommerce product
2. Click the Dynamic Pricing by Date tab in the product data section
3. Configure rules (same options as global rules)
4. Use "Save Pricing Rules" to save only the pricing rules
5. Use "Delete All Rules" to remove all product-specific rules
6. Product rules override global rules

Blackout Date User Experience

When users select a blackout date:

Frontend Behavior

• Date Selection: Users can still select blackout dates from the date picker
• Real-Time Feedback: As soon as a blackout date is selected, the add to cart button disappears
• Clear Message: A red message appears saying "This date is not available"
• Form Prevention: Users cannot submit the form with a blackout date selected

1. User visits product page
2. User selects a date (e.g., Christmas Day)
3. Add to cart button immediately disappears
4. Red message appears: "This date is not available"
5. User must select a different date to proceed
