No release zip yet. The repository archive installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow:
wp plugin install https://github.com/mrleemon/rather-simple-background-slider/archive/refs/heads/main.zipDeclares an update source (false), so updates arrive through the plugin's own updater.

1. Upload the extracted plugin folder and contained files to your /wp-content/plugins/ directory
2. Activate the plugin through the "Plugins" menu in WordPress
