Installation

  1. Upload the mrk-whatsapp-plugin folder to /wp-content/plugins/
  2. Activate via Plugins menu in WordPress admin
  3. Go to Settings → MRK WhatsApp
  4. Enter your WhatsApp number (with country code, no + or spaces)
  5. Customize colors, size, position, and add extra icons
  6. Click Save Settings — the button appears on your site!

How to Install

METHOD 1 — Upload via WordPress Admin:

  1. Zip the mrk-whatsapp-plugin folder
  2. Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
  3. Choose the zip file → Install Now → Activate

METHOD 2 — FTP:

  1. Upload the folder to /wp-content/plugins/
  2. Activate from Plugins page

Settings Guide

GENERAL TAB:

  • Enable/disable the button
  • Set your WhatsApp number (e.g. 923001234567)
  • Set pre-filled message
  • Choose button position (Bottom Right / Left, Top Right / Left)
  • Enable "Open in New Tab"
  • Set tooltip text

DESIGN TAB:

  • Button size in px (40–100)
  • Bottom and side offsets
  • Button background color
  • Icon color
  • Enable/disable pulse animation

EXTRA ICONS TAB:

  • Add Facebook, Instagram, Phone, Email, Telegram, etc.
  • Each icon has: label (tooltip), URL/link, icon type, and color
  • Supports: tel:, mailto:, https:// links

ADVANCED TAB:

  • Custom CSS to override any style
