Mit ModernAmusement Page Duplicator duplizierst du beliebige Beiträge, Seiten oder Custom Post Types direkt aus der Listenansicht. Statt einer naiven Kopie führt das Plugin eine tiefe, serialisierungs-sichere Kopie durch: Arrays, Repeater und andere strukturierte Metawerte bleiben erhalten, Taxonomy-Zuordnungen werden über Term-IDs neu angelegt, und Beitragsbild sowie Seitentemplate (falls vorhanden) werden übernommen.

Funktionen

Installation

1. Lade den Ordner modern-amusement-page-duplicator nach /wp-content/plugins/ hoch (oder installiere über Plugins → Installieren).
2. Aktiviere das Plugin über den Bildschirm Plugins.
3. Nutze Werkzeuge → Page Duplicator, um Titel-Suffix, Standard-Status und aktivierte Post Types zu konfigurieren.

FAQ

Wie dupliziere ich einen Beitrag? Öffne die Liste von Beiträgen (oder Seiten bzw. eines Custom Post Types), fahre über einen Eintrag und klicke Duplizieren. Standardmäßig wird die Kopie als Entwurf mit Suffix „ (Copy)“ erstellt.

Kann ich mehrere Elemente auf einmal duplizieren? Ja. Nutze das Bulk-Aktions-Dropdown und wähle Duplizieren für die markierten Einträge.

Kopiert es Custom Fields und Repeater? Ja. Alle Post-Meta wird typ-erhaltend (serialisierungs-sicher) kopiert. Werte, die WordPress intern neu generiert (_wp_*-Keys), werden übersprungen.

Kopiert es Unterseiten? Standardmäßig nein. Aktiviere Auch Unterelemente duplizieren in Werkzeuge → Page Duplicator, um die ganze Hierarchie rekursiv zu kopieren.

Gibt es eine API? Ja. POST /wp-json/ma-pd/v1/duplicate mit post_id (und optional status), sowie WP-CLI: wp ma-pd duplicate 123 --status=draft

ModernAmusement Page Duplicator lets you duplicate any post, page or custom post type directly from the list tables. Instead of a naive copy it performs a deep, serialization-safe copy: arrays, repeaters and other structured meta values are preserved, taxonomy assignments are re-created by term ID and the featured image and page template (if any) are carried over.

Installation

1. Upload the modern-amusement-page-duplicator folder to /wp-content/plugins/ (or install via Plugins → Add New).
2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins screen.
3. Use Tools → Page Duplicator to configure the title suffix, default status and enabled post types.

FAQ

How do I duplicate a post? Open the Posts (or Pages, or a custom post type) list table, hover an item and click Duplicate. By default the copy is created as a draft with a " (Copy)" suffix.

Can I duplicate several items at once? Yes. Use the bulk action dropdown and select Duplicate for the selected items.

Does it copy custom fields and repeaters? Yes. All post meta is copied with type information preserved (serialization-safe). Values that WordPress regenerates internally (_wp_* keys) are skipped.

Does it copy child pages? By default no. Enable Also duplicate child items in Tools → Page Duplicator to copy the whole hierarchy recursively.

Is there an API? Yes. POST /wp-json/ma-pd/v1/duplicate with a post_id (and optional status), and WP-CLI: wp ma-pd duplicate 123 --status=draft
