This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Facty Pro Editor - Update v2.0

🚨 Critical Fixes

  1. ✅ Fixed: Satire detection too aggressive (articles getting 100 score)
  2. ✅ Fixed: Content not being fully read by AI
  3. ✅ Fixed: "Last checked 60 minutes ago" bug
  4. ✅ Fixed: Analysis completing too fast
  5. ✅ Added: Multi-step analyzer for enhanced accuracy

📦 Quick Install

Files to Replace:

Installation:

  1. Backup your current plugin folder
  2. Replace the files above
  3. Clear all caches
  4. Test on any post

🎯 What's Fixed

Before:

  • Articles marked as "satire" instantly → 100 score
  • AI only reading ~200 characters
  • Timestamp always "60 minutes ago"
  • Analysis done in 4 seconds

After:

  • All articles fully analyzed
  • AI reads full content (logs word count)
  • Accurate timestamps
  • Proper analysis time (10-90 seconds depending on mode)

🆕 New Feature: Multi-Step Analysis

Enable in: Settings → Facty Pro Editor → "Use Multi-Step Analyzer"

Single-Step (Default):

  • Fast (10 seconds)
  • 1 API call
  • Good for most articles

Multi-Step (Premium):

  • Thorough (30-90 seconds)
  • Multiple API calls (one per claim)
  • Best accuracy
  • More detailed reports

✅ Quick Test

After updating:

  1. Go to any post
  2. Click "Start Fact Check"
  3. Watch for progress updates
  4. Check debug.log for: Facty Pro: Content prepared - X characters, Y words
  5. Verify score is reasonable (not always 100)

Enable debug logging in wp-config.php:
