Install
This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.
Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:
wp plugin install https://github.com/mnpezz/nano.to_wordpress_author_tip_plugin/archive/refs/heads/main.zipNo built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.
Tip the Author with Nano
This WordPress plugin implements a tipping system for blogs or news sites using Nano cryptocurrency.
Features
- Adds a "Tip the Author with Nano" button at the end of each post and on author pages.
- Retrieves the author's Nano address and opens the NanoPay interface for tipping when clicked.
- Allows authors to set their Nano address and default tip amount in their user profile.
- Provides admin settings to control user editing permissions.
Installation
1. Download the plugin zip file.
2. Log in to your WordPress admin panel.
3. Go to Plugins Add New Upload Plugin.
4. Choose the downloaded zip file and click "Install Now".
5. After installation, click "Activate Plugin".
Configuration
For Administrators:
1. Go to Settings Tip the Author in your WordPress admin panel.
2. Configure the global settings, including whether to allow users to edit their own Nano address.
3. Save your changes.
For Authors:
1. Log in to your WordPress account.
2. Go to your user profile (Users Your Profile).
3. Scroll down to the "Nano Tipping Settings" section.
4. Enter your Nano address and default tip amount.
5. Save your profile.
