Install
This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.
Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:
wp plugin install https://github.com/missveronica/um-directory-private-fields/archive/refs/heads/main.zipNo built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.
UM Directory Private Fields
Extension to Ultimate Member for User setting of private fields in Members Directory.
From version 2.0.0 search via Directory filters included and option to make Profile page fields private.
UM Settings - General - Users
1. Profile and Registration Form fields to make Private - Select single or multiple Form fields. - Removed suspect metakeys where there is also a metakey with the "hide" custom prefix: {list if any metakeys}
2. Member Directories to allow Private fields - Select single or multiple Member Directories. None selected equals all selected.
3. User Roles to allow setting Private Fields - Select the User Role(s) to be included in Private Fields. None selected equals all selected.
4. Include Administrators - Click to include Administrators among Members not seeing the Private fields.
5. Use custom template - Click to load customized template from active theme\'s folder: .../ultimate-member/directoryprivatefieldstemplate.php
6. Include Profile Page - Click to include the User Profile Pages in Form fields to make Private
