This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/missveronica/um-default-content-restriction/archive/refs/heads/main.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Extension to Ultimate Member for presetting posttype default UM "Content Restriction" for logged in Users and Restricted message or Redirect.

UM Settings -> Access -> Other

  • Post types for default UM "Content Restriction" - Select single or multiple post types for default UM "Content Restriction".
  • Select which roles can access these post types - Select single or multiple Roles for UM Access by logged in Users
  • What happens when users without access try to view? - Action when users without access tries to view the post
  • Restricted access message type - Would you like to use the global default message or apply a custom message to this post?

  • Install and update by downloading the plugin ZIP file via the green "Code" button
  • Install as a new Plugin, which you upload in WordPress -> Plugins -> Add New -> Upload Plugin.
  • Activate the Plugin
