wp plugin install https://github.com/mikelawson68/apimage-community/releases/download/v2.0.4/apimage-2.0.4-community.zipapImage is a free WordPress plugin for generating locally cached image derivatives and responsive image markup while preserving the original files. It uses your site's image-processing capabilities and does not require an account or image credits.
Install
- Back up your site. If the older paid apImage edition is active, deactivate it before activating this edition; they share settings and cannot run together.
- Download the community ZIP from Releases, upload it under Plugins > Add New and activate it.
- Open apImage in WordPress administration and test image output with your hosting environment.
Requires WordPress 6.4 or later, PHP 8.0 or later and GD for image transformation. Optional formats depend on your host. The free community edition has no built-in updater; check this repository for releases and back up before updating. WordPress.org review is not yet complete.
Paid features and support
apImage Pro is a separately sold add-on with additional features, updates and support. Your own optional third-party services may have separate charges. See readme.txt for setup and release information.
License
GPL version 2 or later; see LICENSE.txt.
