This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/melaniemuellerdesign/melaniemueller.design-localfonts/archive/refs/heads/main.zip

Updates itself. It ships its own updater (Update URI header), so new versions appear under Dashboard → Updates.

Localfonts WordPress Plugin

Upload your localfonts to the WordPress backend and implement it in a privacy friendly way without connection to google.

How to

Install the plugin and activate it.
Go to https://gwfh.mranftl.com/.
Search for your font and download your font files.
Upload your font to the backend Appearance -> Localfonts.
Add the css for the files to the editor in the backend. Be aware to use an absolute path for your font file like:

https://myurl.de/wp-content/localfonts/
```
