This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/mdmdevops/mwf-blocks/archive/refs/heads/main.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Addons and enhancements for the WordPress core blocks.

Description

MWF Blocks bundles several block enhancement packages into a single WordPress plugin:

  • Button Block Enhancements — extended controls for the core button block
  • Navigation Block Enhancements — extended controls for the core navigation block
  • Block Preset Classes — register preset CSS classes selectable in the block editor
  • Featured Image Block Fallback — fallback image support for the featured image block
  • Enable List Icons — icon support for the core list block
  • Responsive Grid Extension — responsive column controls for the core group/grid block

Requirements

  • WordPress 6.0+
  • PHP 8.2+

Installation

Download the latest release zip from the Releases page and install it through Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.

Development

Prerequisites

  • PHP 8.2+
  • Composer
  • Node.js + npm
  • Docker (for release builds)

Setup

composer install
npm install
npm run build

Linting

composer run phpstan      # PHPStan static analysis
composer run phpsniff     # PHP_CodeSniffer
composer run phpunit      # PHPUnit tests

Building a Release

composer run build-release:docker

This produces a mwf-blocks.zip ready for distribution. The build runs inside Docker to ensure a clean, reproducible environment, and runs the PHP-Scoper dependency isolation step automatically.
