Usage

Auto-Injection (recommended) Configure rules in Ads Manager > Ad Spaces > Auto-Injection Rules to automatically inject ads into post content based on position rules (after paragraph N, before content, after CSS element, etc.).

Placements

Define your own ad placements in the "Ad Spaces" tab. Common placements:

Installation

1. Upload the ads-manager folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
3. Go to 'Ads Manager' in the WordPress admin menu
4. Create your first ad placement in the "Ad Spaces" tab
5. Add your first ad in the "Ads Setup" tab
6. Configure auto-injection rules in "Ad Spaces" under Auto-Injection Rules, or use the template tag <?php echo ads_manager_display('header'); ?> in your theme

Can I use different ads for mobile and desktop?

Yes! Each ad has separate desktop and mobile versions. You can use different images or code for each device type.

Does it support Google AdSense?

Absolutely! Just paste your AdSense code in the "Code" field for either desktop or mobile versions.

How does ad rotation work?

Ads in the same placement will automatically rotate with a smooth fade transition. You can configure the rotation interval in Settings.

Can I schedule ads for specific dates?

Yes! Set start and end dates for each ad. Ads will automatically activate and deactivate based on these dates.

How is click tracking implemented?

Click tracking uses AJAX to log clicks without disrupting the user experience. CTR is calculated as (Clicks / Impressions) × 100.

How does auto-injection work?

Auto-injection hooks into WordPress's the_content filter. You define rules specifying which placement to use, where to inject (after/before paragraph, before/after content, after/before CSS element), and an optional limit on ads. Rules are processed in order.

Will this slow down my site?

No! The plugin uses intelligent caching (5-minute transients), batched database operations, and optimized queries to minimize performance impact.

Can I export my ads for backup?

Yes! Use the Import/Export tab to export all ads to JSON format and import them on another site.

How long is analytics data kept?

By default, impression and click data is retained for 90 days. You can customize this in the Settings tab.

Is it GDPR compliant?

The plugin logs minimal user data (IP address and user agent for clicks). You should disclose this in your privacy policy if required by GDPR.
