This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/mahsakiani/dinoblocks/archive/refs/heads/main.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

A growing library of Gutenberg blocks and ready-made patterns for text and image layouts, built for the WordPress block editor.

About

DinoBlocks adds a set of focused, single-purpose Gutenberg blocks along with ready-to-use block patterns (hero sections, feature layouts, testimonials, and more) so pages can be composed quickly without custom CSS.

The plugin is under active development — new blocks and patterns are added on an ongoing basis.

Requirements

  • WordPress 6.3+
  • PHP 7.4+
  • Node.js (for local development only)

Development setup

git clone https://github.com/<your-username>/dinoblocks.git
cd dinoblocks
npm install
npm run build

Then symlink or copy the dinoblocks folder into your local WordPress installation's wp-content/plugins/ directory and activate it from the Plugins screen.

Useful scripts during development:

npm start          # watch mode for block development
npm run build      # production build
npm run lint:js    # lint JavaScript
npm run lint:css   # lint styles
npm run plugin-zip # build a distributable zip
