Fluent Forms + IMAP/SMTP support desk bridge with optional Proton Bridge / external mail worker support.

WordPress plugin that turns Fluent Forms submissions into threaded support tickets, with IMAP inbound and SMTP outbound mail (including Proton Mail Bridge and an optional mail worker container).

Compatibility lineage: evolved from biopentra-contact-inbox (v2.0.0). Database tables, option keys, cron hooks, capabilities, and REST namespace remain *`biopentra_/biopentra-support/v1`** until a future major migration — see docs/compatibility-identifiers.md.

Upload via Plugins → Add New → Upload, or use the built-in updater on production (see below). Pushing a v* tag runs .github/workflows/release.yml to attach the ZIP to a GitHub Release.

For development sync to a bind-mounted site, rsync from this repository — do not edit wp-content/plugins/fluent-imap-support-desk/ as the source of truth. The dev server does not need to match the latest stable ZIP.

GitHub Release updater (production)

On sites with WP_ENVIRONMENT_TYPE set to production, the plugin checks:

and offers updates only when a newer stable release exists and the release asset fluent-imap-support-desk-X.Y.Z.zip is present (not GitHub’s source ZIP).

Disable on development (recommended for this repo checkout):

Installs with -dev, -snapshot, -alpha, -beta, or -rc in the version string are not prompted to “update” to an older stable release unless the stable version is greater than the install base.
