This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/magepeopleteam/storage-sherpa/archive/refs/heads/main.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Description

Storage Sherpa helps WordPress users reclaim disk space, clean unnecessary data, optimize databases, and improve website performance safely.

Unlike traditional cleanup plugins that simply delete revisions or optimize tables, Storage Sherpa analyzes the entire WordPress installation and lets you safely review every item before removing it.

Safety comes first. Every deletion — a file, a database row, or a whole table — is moved to a Safe Trash first and stays restorable until its retention window (default 15 days) closes. Nothing is permanently removed without that window passing or an explicit "Delete Permanently" click.

Installation

  1. Upload the storage-sherpa folder to /wp-content/plugins/.
  2. Activate the plugin through the "Plugins" menu in WordPress.
  3. Go to Storage Sherpa → Dashboard and click "Run Full Scan".
