No release zip yet. The repository archive installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow:
wp plugin install https://github.com/lmoffereins/bp-xprofile-multi-text-field/archive/refs/heads/master.zipDeclares an update source (lmoffereins/bp-xprofile-multi-text-field), so updates arrive through the plugin's own updater.

BP XProfile Multi Text Field #
BuddyPress profile field type that can have multiple text inputs
Description ##
This WordPress plugin requires at least WordPress 4.6 and BuddyPress 2.1.
Installation ##
If you download BP XProfile Multi Text Field manually, make sure it is uploaded to "/wp-content/plugins/bp-xprofile-multi-text-field/".
Activate BP XProfile Multi Text Field in the "Plugins" admin panel using the "Activate" link. If you're using WordPress Multisite, you can choose to activate BP XProfile Multi Text Field network wide for full integration with all of your sites.
Updates ##
This plugin is not hosted in the official WordPress repository. Instead, updating is supported through use of the GitHub Updater plugin by @afragen and friends.
