Getting Started

Installation

  1. Download the plugin .zip file.
  2. In WordPress Admin, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
  3. Choose the file and click Install Now, then Activate.
  4. Navigate to WooCommerce → Settings → Payments.
  5. Locate Cepta Payment Gateway and click Manage to configure it.

Configuration

To configure the plugin:

  1. Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Payments.
  2. Select Cepta Payment Gateway.
  3. Adjust the following options:
Setting Description
Enable/Disable Toggle Cepta as a payment option.
Title What customers see during checkout.
Description Message under payment fields (e.g., supported cards).
Test Mode Enables sandbox testing before going live.
Sandbox Keys Enter test API keys from Cepta Dashboard → Settings → API Credentials.
Live Keys Enter live API keys from your Cepta account.
Payment Option Choose Inline Checkout (Direct pay on your site - checkout.) or Redirect (Cepta-hosted site).

💡 Note: Click Save Changes to apply your settings.

If Cepta doesn’t appear in checkout options:

  • Ensure Enable/Disable is checked.
  • Confirm that API Keys are entered correctly.
  • Click Save Changes again.

Software Dependencies

  • WooCommerce plugin must be installed and activated.
  • You must have an active Cepta merchant account.
  • Compatible with WooCommerce v8.0+ and WordPress 6.2+.
