This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/knowthecode/journals/archive/refs/heads/master.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

In this repository is for a WordPress plugin that provides a journal to your site. It uses the built-in Category taxonomy by default, but also provides the means to use a custom taxonomy.

Installation

  1. Download it.
  2. Put into your wp-content/plugins/ folder
  3. Extract it
  4. Go into the new folder

Installation from GitHub is as simple as cloning the repo onto your local machine. To clone the repo, do the following:

  1. Using PhpStorm, open your project and navigate to wp-content/plugins/. (Or open terminal and navigate there).
  2. Then type: git clone https://github.com/KnowTheCode/journals.
  3. Go into the new folder
