🚀 Installation & Setup

1. Compress the ecare-health-services directory into a .zip file.
2. Log in to your WordPress Admin dashboard and navigate to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
3. Upload the .zip file and click Install Now.
4. Click Activate Plugin.
5. Upon activation, the plugin automatically creates the required custom tables and seeds default locations (Dhaka division → Dhaka district → Ashkona area → Praava Health provider) so the lab test filter path works out-of-the-box.
6. Install and activate WooCommerce to enable dynamic payment order generation and cart redirects.

🗑️ Uninstalling

Deleting the plugin from the Plugins screen removes only the plugin's files. Bookings, providers, lab tests, caregiver types and uploaded documents are all left in place, so you can replace one copy of the plugin with another, or clear a duplicate folder, without losing anything.

If you really do want the data gone, opt in first and then delete the plugin:

wp option update ecare_delete_data_on_uninstall yes

That one run removes the ecare_bookings table, all Care Provider / Lab Test / Ambulance posts (trashed ones included), the caregiver types and their package prices, the plugin's options, and the private document store under wp-content/uploads/ecare-private/. It is not reversible — take a backup first. WooCommerce orders and Media Library attachments are never touched.

The option clears itself afterwards, so a later install starts safe again.
