A simple WordPress plugin that limits the maximum length of WooCommerce product titles throughout your store.

Description

WooCommerce Title Limiter allows you to set a maximum character length for product titles displayed in various areas of your WooCommerce store:

  • Shop page
  • Category pages
  • Tag pages
  • Product detail page
  • Homepage
  • Any other area where WooCommerce product titles are displayed

Long product titles can break your store's design or make product listings look inconsistent. This plugin solves that problem by allowing you to set a maximum length and optionally append an ellipsis to truncated titles.

Installation

  1. Upload the wc-title-limiter folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory

Configuration

Does this plugin modify the actual product titles in the database?

No. This plugin only affects how titles are displayed on the frontend. It does not modify your actual product data.

No. The plugin only changes how titles appear visually on your site. The original, full title is still used in page titles, meta tags, and other SEO-related elements.
