This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/jwrobbs/dotenv_wrapper/archive/refs/heads/main.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

This is designed to be used as a mu-plugin. When you add these, they must be in the top level of mu-plugins. Do not put them in a folder as you would a regular plugin.

admin-env-alert.php is a very simple tester. It creates an alert of your ENVIRONMENT constant just to show you that it works.
