This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.
Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:
wp plugin install https://github.com/joelgratcyk/joels-interstitial-plugin-for-wordpress/archive/refs/heads/main.zipNo built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Description
This plugin displays an interstitial for external links on a WordPress site, providing transparency to users before they leave the site.
Installation
- Upload the plugin files to the
/wp-content/plugins/external-links-interstitialdirectory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly. - Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' screen in WordPress.
- Configure the plugin settings under 'Settings' > 'External Links Interstitial'.
Always backup before changing any code.
