This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/jcollings/wp-checksum/archive/refs/heads/master.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Wordpress Checksum Generator

Wordpress Checksum Generator is a wordpress plugin that keeps track of file modifications

Installation

  1. Extract the folder "wp-checksum" to your wordpress installs plugin directory.
  2. Login to wordpress administration area and activate the plugin.
  3. Make sure that the website can write to md5_changes.txt and md5_checksums.txt otherwise the plugin wont work.
