This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/jcollings/wordpress-events-calendar/archive/refs/heads/master.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Add simple and recurring events to your WordPress website in the style of an Monthly Events Calendar, list of Upcoming Events, or a Monthly Event Archive.

Setup

A few quick steps and you should be ready to go.

  1. Upload and extract this plugin to your WordPress plugin directory in the /wp-content/plugins/ folder of your website.
  2. Activate the Wordpress Events Calendar Plugin
  3. Set Events Archive Page under Events > Settings
  4. Refresh permalinks by going to Settings > Permalinks
