This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/jaywood/gist-snippets/archive/refs/heads/master.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Description

Integrate your GitHub Gists into your posts with a simple interface.

This plugin is designed to give users the ability to submit GIST snippets to GitHub directly from the editor. While also allowing users to search/select gists to insert into their post content.

Installation

Manual Installation

  1. Upload the entire /gist-snippets directory to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  2. Activate Gist Snippets through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
