This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/jamiemarsland/cx-page-element-hider/archive/refs/heads/master.zip
Updates itself. It ships its own updater, so new versions appear under Dashboard → Updates.

Hides elements per page

Instructions

  1. Install zip file as a plugin (not a theme)
  2. Page Element Hider will be turned on automatically.
  3. Go to edit a page (or create a new page) in the WordPress dashboard and you will see the options to hide elements in the 'Canvas Custom Settings' under the page editor.

Versions

v1.3 - Update compatibility with Logo Inside Nav

v1.2 - Removed the 'page-only' restriction so in theory should work for any post type. Added less specific CSS to hide post title and added specific The Events Calendar and WooCommerce title-hiding CSS. Other CPTs that use specific templates might need other CSS selectors adding.
