This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/jamesbrooksco/battiblocks/archive/refs/heads/main.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Custom Gutenberg blocks for WordPress.

Requirements

  • WordPress 6.3+
  • Node.js 18+

Setup

  1. Install dependencies:

    npm install

  2. Build assets for production:

    npm run build

  3. Start development watcher:

    npm start

Adding Blocks

  • Add a new folder under src/blocks/ with a block.json and block files.
  • Export the block from src/index.js.
  • Run npm run build to generate assets in build/.
