Install
Upload it under Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin, then activate.
Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:
wp plugin install https://github.com/jain640/webplatform-social-publisher/releases/download/1.2.0/webplatform-social-publisher-1.2.0.zipNo built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.
Webplatform Social Publisher shares newly published WordPress posts through Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
It provides two connection modes:
- Easy mode delegates account authorization and publishing to Jetpack Social.
- Advanced mode connects directly to the official Meta and LinkedIn APIs.
The plugin also includes per-post controls, custom social messages, retry and duplicate protection, publishing logs, and public share buttons.
Installation
- Copy the
webplatform-social-publisherdirectory towp-content/plugins/. - Activate Webplatform Social Publisher in WordPress.
- Open Settings → Social Publisher.
- Choose easy mode or configure the advanced direct APIs.
