Install

No release zip yet. The repository archive installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow:

wp plugin install https://github.com/jacobg321/wp-plugin-update-from-repo/archive/refs/heads/main.zip

Learning how to update a plugin via GitHub repository. This is only for testing/learning. The plugin uses the GitHub API to check for updates in the specified repository and updates the plugin if a new version is found. No, this version only supports public repositories. For private repositories, additional authentication is required. 1. This screen shot description corresponds to screenshot-1.(png|jpg|jpeg|gif). Screenshots are stored in the /assets directory. 2.
