Browser-based text-to-speech bar using the built-in SpeechSynthesis API — no AI, no external service.
Adds a lightweight player bar to your WordPress posts, allowing visitors to listen to articles directly in their browser.

🔊 No AI, no cloud — uses the browser’s native SpeechSynthesis API.
🎨 Multiple themes — Light, Dark, Minimal, Compact, Glass.
⚙️ Simple settings page under Settings → WP Read It.

Override theme per page:

🌍 Works fully client-side (privacy-safe, no API keys).

📦 Installation

Upload the plugin ZIP via WordPress Admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin

Activate the plugin.

Go to Settings → WP Read It to select your preferred player theme.

Visit any post — the playback bar appears automatically above your content.
