Inkfire Onboarding Connector

Inkfire onboarding connector: approved draft content, branding and developer handoff

Install

Download source zip No release zip yet

This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/inkfire-limited/inkfire-onboard-connector/archive/refs/heads/main.zip
Updates itself. It ships its own updater (Plugin Update Checker), so new versions appear under Dashboard → Updates.

Receives explicitly approved onboarding snapshots as draft WordPress content. Includes native Elementor branding and developer-edit preservation. Receiving is disabled until an administrator pairs the site.

Updates

Uses the same public GitHub / Plugin Update Checker method as Inkfire Login Styler. Stable GitHub releases must include inkfire-onboard-connector.zip with one inkfire-onboard-connector/ root directory. No GitHub token is needed. Checks use PUC's default schedule; WordPress automatic updates must be enabled on each installation to install releases automatically. Existing pre-updater installations need a one-time upgrade.

Template sites

Keep receiving disabled and leave the pairing secret, project binding and developer brief empty before making copies. Pair each destination separately after cloning.

Release process

  1. Bump the plugin header and FCO_Build_Connector::VERSION together.
  2. Run PHP lint and the signed HTTP delivery/preservation checks on a disposable site. CLI-only Elementor validation is insufficient.
  3. Run python3 scripts/package.py.
  4. Commit, tag vVERSION, push, and attach the generated ZIP and checksum to a draft GitHub release.
  5. Publish only after the release candidate passes verification. Blueprint and other auto-update-enabled sites discover the same published asset on their normal update checks.

1.2.3

Adds public GitHub release updates. Includes 1.2.2's fix covering indirect Elementor Kit writes triggered by WordPress site identity hooks. No client wizard styling changes.

This is an import starting point, not an automatic finished website. Integrations, payments and unsupported builder work remain developer tasks.
