360 Media Auto Cleanup scans your media library, detects likely orphan files, and lets admins review before deleting.

Why this plugin?

Large sites often accumulate thousands of unused media files. Deleting blindly is risky. This plugin prioritizes safe detection, review workflow, and transparent logging.

Installation

  1. Copy folder to wp-content/plugins/360-media-auto-cleanup.
  2. Activate plugin in WordPress admin.
  3. Open Media > 360 Media Cleanup.
  1. Run scan.
  2. Filter results and inspect flagged files.
  3. Start with Dry-run enabled.
  4. Review logs.
  5. Run real cleanup when confident.

Safety notes

  • Keep backups before permanent deletions.
  • Treat sensitive-name warnings as manual review prompts.
  • In multisite, run review per site context.
