This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/husseinalmansour/wp-basic-post-views-counter/archive/refs/heads/main.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Basic Post Views Counter & Expose to wp-josn

Description

Wordpress Plugin to Calculate and Show the number of views on your posts With no perfomance Impact, and no external loaded styles or scripts.

Installation

  1. Upload the PostCounter folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
  3. Configure the plugin by navigating to 'Post views counter' in the WordPress dashboard.
