This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/humanmade/shorthand-embed/archive/refs/heads/main.zip

On Packagist as humanmade/shorthand-embed:

composer require humanmade/shorthand-embed
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

WordPress Shorthand Embeds

This plugin adds basic embedding support for https://shorthand.com/ projects.

Usage Install and activate this plugin, either by downloading the zip and uploading it to your WordPress site, or via Composer using composer require humanmade/shorthand-embed.

Then, in your post editor, paste a link to a Shorthand project on its own line. For example:

https://<subdomain>.shorthandstories.com/<project title>/

E.G.: https://mau-gelves.shorthandstories.com/floral-blooms-in-the-desert/
