This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/huanyichuang/authors-et-al/archive/refs/heads/main.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

This plugin will enable you to select multiple authors for the single posts, and can choose special layouts to display the authors' names.

The idea came from Every Author as First Author by Erik D. Demaine and Martin L. Demaine.

  • [ ] Fetch the user if the author is also the WordPress user.
  • [ ] Style updates with the styles provided.
  • [ ] i18n support.
  • [ ] Reconsider the scenarios and make better compatibilities.
  • [ ] Code clean up.
