This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/hrdikpande/site-rag-assistant/archive/refs/heads/main.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Scrapes your WordPress site's content and powers an AI Q&A that answers strictly from your site's content.

Features

  • Indexes posts and pages into chunked text with embeddings
  • REST endpoint POST /wp-json/sra/v1/ask for Q&A
  • Shortcode [site_rag_chat] to render a minimal chat widget
  • Admin page under Settings to configure API key and models
  • WP-CLI: wp sra index [--post=ID]
  • Cron scheduled reindexing (twice daily)

Setup

  1. Upload the site-rag-assistant folder to wp-content/plugins/.
  2. Activate the plugin in WordPress admin.
  3. Go to Settings → Site RAG Assistant and set Provider, API key, Embedding model, Chat model.
  4. Click "Index Now" to build the knowledge base.
  5. Add the shortcode [site_rag_chat] to any page to enable the widget.

Providers

  • OpenAI (default endpoints)
  • OpenRouter (set Provider to OpenRouter)

Security

  • The REST endpoint is public but answers only from your site's indexed content.

Uninstall

Removes plugin options and drops the wp_sra_chunks table.
