This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/honzitko/eer_v2/archive/refs/heads/main.zip
Updates itself. It ships its own updater, so new versions appear under Dashboard → Updates.

Running tests

Run composer install to install the development dependencies. After that execute vendor/bin/phpunit from the repository root. The configuration file phpunit.xml is provided in the project.

Debugging

Enable detailed plugin logging by defining the EER_DEBUG constant as true. Log messages are written to eer-debug.log in the plugin root directory.

You can verify the logger independently by running the demo script:

php tests/debug_demo.php

The script writes a sample entry to tests/debug.log so you can confirm that debugging is working.

Shortcode customization

The [eer_event_sale] shortcode accepts optional presentation attributes so you can match the embedded form with the surrounding layout without switching to the Gutenberg block. All parameters are optional and can be combined as needed:

custom_title="Text" Override the event title with custom copy (requires show_title).
show_event_id="true" Render the numeric event ID badge next to the title.
intro_text="<p>HTML...</p>" Add supporting copy before the registration form.

text_color="#111" Override the text color for the wrapper.
padding="32" Apply padding (in pixels) around the form.
border_radius="16" Round wrapper corners (in pixels).
show_border="true" Enable the border defined by border_color and border_width.
border_color="#ddd" Customize the border color (hex or CSS variable).
border_width="2" Adjust the border thickness in pixels.
shadow="true" Add a soft drop shadow to the wrapper.
wrapper_class="my-class" Append custom CSS classes to the outer wrapper.
