This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/heyashrafkhan/hello-bar-lite/archive/refs/heads/main.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Installation

  1. Download or clone this repository to your wp-content/plugins/hello-bar-lite directory.
  2. Activate the plugin from the WordPress admin Plugins page.

Usage

  • Go to Settings → Reading in your WordPress admin.
  • Edit the "Banner Text" and "Banner Color" fields under the "Hello Bar Lite" section.
  • Save changes. The banner will appear at the top of every page.
