This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

wp plugin install https://github.com/heyashrafkhan/custom-admin-logo/archive/refs/heads/main.zip
No built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.

Description

Easily swap the default WordPress logo on the login screen and dashboard header with your own PNG or SVG image. Perfect for branding client sites or personalizing your admin experience.

Installation

For GitHub

  1. Clone the repository: git clone https://github.com/yourusername/custom-admin-logo.git
  2. Navigate to the plugin directory: cd custom-admin-logo
  3. Upload the folder to your WordPress site's /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  4. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.

For WordPress

  1. Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/custom-admin-logo/ directory.
  2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.

Usage

  1. Go to Settings > Custom Admin Logo in your WordPress dashboard.
  2. Enter the URL of your PNG or SVG logo (upload it via the Media Library if needed).
  3. Save changes. The new logo will appear on the login screen and dashboard header.
