This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.

Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:

Description

Custom Testimonial Block built for interview/demo purposes, allows you to easily manage and display client testimonials in a beautiful carousel. Features include:

Custom post type for Testimonials. Custom meta box for rating (1–5 stars) and optional client URL. Testimonial categories (taxonomy) for filtering. Gutenberg block editor restricted to Paragraph block for content simplicity. Shortcode [ctb_display_testimonials] to display testimonials in a Slick Slider carousel. Options for avatars, client URL linking, autoplay, and category filtering. Created a new custom testimonial block to display a testimonials in carousel.

Shortcode Usage

[ctb_display_testimonials count="3" show_avatar="true" show_url="true" category="" autoplay="true" autoplay_speed="3000"]

Shortcode Attributes:

  • count: (int) - Number of testimonials to display. Default: 3.
  • show_avatar: (true/false) – Show client avatar. Default: true.
  • show_url: (true/false) – Link avatar to client website. Default: true.
  • category: (string) – Filter testimonials by category slug. Default: ''.
  • autoplay: (true/false) – Enable carousel autoplay. Default: true.
  • autoplay_speed: (int) – Autoplay interval in milliseconds. Default: 3000.

Installation

This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.

Yes! Use the category attribute in the shortcode and provide the slug of the testimonial category: [ctb_display_testimonials category="happy-clients"]

How do I show client avatars?

Set show_avatar="true" in the shortcode. Make sure the testimonial has a featured image.

Can I link avatars to client websites?

Yes! Use show_url="true" in the shortcode and fill in the client URL in the testimonial meta box.
