Install
This is the repository archive. It installs, but the folder name will carry the branch suffix and updates will not flow.
Install straight from GitHub with WP-CLI:
wp plugin install https://github.com/helloideabox/elementor-widget-manager/archive/refs/heads/master.zipNo built-in updater. New versions won't appear under Dashboard → Updates. Install new releases yourself, or let Git Updater track the repository.
A simple way to deactivate/activate Elementor widgets from WP admin.
How does it work?
- Install and activate the plugin
- Go to WP admin > Elementor > Widget Manager page.
- Select the widgets that you want to deactivate/activate
- That's all.
FAQs
1. Will deactivating a widget remove the content from my site?
No. The widgets are removed/uregistered only from Elementor Builder interface.
2. Why should I deactivate widgets?
Deactivating the widgets will speed up the loading of Elementor builder interface and will consume lesser resources.
