A WordPress plugin to create and display projects with image galleries, map locations, Leaflet markers, single project pages, and a full-screen interactive project map archive.

Description

Project Locate on Map is a lightweight WordPress plugin that allows website owners to add projects with location-based map markers. Each project can include details, featured images, gallery images, latitude and longitude coordinates, and a dedicated single project page.

The plugin uses Leaflet maps to display project locations in an interactive and user-friendly way. It is useful for construction companies, real estate websites, development portfolios, agencies, property listings, local business projects, case studies, and any website that needs to showcase work by location.

Installation

  1. Download the plugin ZIP file.
  2. Go to your WordPress Dashboard.
  3. Navigate to Plugins > Add New.
  4. Click Upload Plugin.
  5. Upload the plugin ZIP file.
  6. Click Install Now.
  7. Activate the plugin.

How to Use

After activating the plugin, a new Projects menu will appear in the WordPress admin dashboard.

To add a new project:

  1. Go to Projects > Add New.
  2. Enter the project title and description.
  3. Add a featured image.
  4. Add gallery images if available.
  5. Enter the project latitude and longitude.
  6. Publish the project.

The project will then be available on its single project page and can appear on the interactive project map archive.

Map System

The plugin uses Leaflet to display project locations on an interactive map. Each project marker is generated using the latitude and longitude values added in the project settings.

When visitors click a marker, they can view project information and access the project detail page.
