Version 2.5.1 – 2.5.3 — Scan & Blocking Reliability
A patch series fixing three related issues in the scan-and-block workflow:
- 2.5.3 — Rescanning a page no longer hides items already on the saved blocklist. Token-based scan recognition replaces the auth-dependent check that broke in 2.5.1, and tightens scan-parameter security as a side effect (
?mbr_asm_scan=1can no longer be used to trivially bypass blocking on a page view). - 2.5.2 — Saved blocklists now block reliably for anonymous visitors, not just in preview. The client-side blocker runs for every blocked item and loads in
