Powerful Spam Protection is a lightweight yet highly effective security plugin designed to protect your WordPress and WooCommerce login and registration forms from bots and spam registrations. Specially optimized for Porto Theme and custom layouts.

🛠️ Installation

  1. Upload: Upload the powerful-spam-protection folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  2. Activate: Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
  3. Configure: Go to Settings > Spam Protection to enter your Google reCAPTCHA keys.
  4. Test: Use the "Verify API Integration" tool on the settings page to ensure everything is working correctly before enabling protection.

⚙️ Configuration

To use this plugin, you need Google reCAPTCHA API Keys:

  1. Visit Google reCAPTCHA Admin.
  2. Register your site and select reCAPTCHA v2 ("I'm not a robot" Checkbox).
  3. Copy the Site Key and Secret Key into the plugin settings.

🎨 Layout Optimization

If the reCAPTCHA box is overlapping or looks too large on your custom theme:

  • The plugin automatically applies transform: scale(0.88) for WordPress login pages to ensure a perfect fit.
  • The "Force Theme Injection" feature ensures the captcha appears right before the submit button on custom WooCommerce layouts.
