# AdFlow Manager

AdFlow Manager is a fast, standalone, open-source Google AdSense-focused WordPress ad management plugin for publishers, media sites, bloggers, and high-traffic WordPress installs that need flexible ad placement without commercial licensing or heavy bundled vendor packages.

It helps you insert, rotate, target, and measure ads from one WordPress admin screen while keeping the codebase easier to audit and deploy.

• Added safer compatibility stubs for removed optional integrations.
• Improved statistics table setup and batched tracking writes for better performance at scale.

Installation

1. Download the latest release ZIP from GitHub.
2. In WordPress, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
3. Upload the ZIP and activate AdFlow Manager.
4. Open the AdFlow Manager settings page and configure your blocks.

Performance Notes

For large sites, pair AdFlow Manager with:

• Full-page caching or edge caching.
• Persistent object cache such as Redis or Memcached.
• A real cron runner instead of high-traffic WP-Cron.
• Database monitoring for the statistics table if tracking is enabled.

The 1.0.0 release reduces bundled code and uses aggregate tracking writes to avoid excessive per-hit database work.

Removed Optional Integrations

These heavy integrations are intentionally not bundled in the standalone release:

• Google AdSense OAuth API client.
• TCPDF PDF report export.
• MaxMind PHP vendor package.
• Commercial update checker.
• Telemetry/deactivation tracking package.

Manual Google AdSense code insertion remains a core workflow. The removed part is only the bundled Google OAuth/API client that listed AdSense units automatically.
